Minimizing Applications for S40 devices

Hey Frnds, after a long tym , this is my new post.It deals with minimizing the apps in Nokia S40 devices..Normally, the original firmware don't have such a facility of minimizing the applications. So, I am here to give you the trick (or tutorial) for minimizing the applications in your phone.
It is easy for facebook lovers to minimize the Ebuddy application while chating through sms to a friend.
Lets get into the work.,
Things you need.

  1. Phoenix Flashing Software
  2. PPU file for your phone (for Nokia C3-00 its here)
  3. WinRAR (for Crack visit here)
Do this after flashing your phone..For flashing tutorial visit my post Nokia Flashing Tutorial.Fine..Lets start download your phone's ppu file..first..for nokia c3-00 I had given the link.Mostly the ppu file will be downloadable through Navifirm i think.
If not, search for the phone's ppu file in GOOGLE..quite intrsting matter is that we need to edit the applications also to be minimized..
First of all open the phoenix software and connect your phone through USB port.
Next thing is to scan your product by hitting Ctrl+R
You will see.like this...there click-> Product-> Product Edit
then you would see a window like this..Click on Browse and select the ppu file you have downloaded(If your Phone is Nokia C3-00) from the link above.Refer the screenshot below.
after that click on Activate button
then click on JAVA TCK SUPPORT and select JAVA TCK ON as shown in the following screenshot
then click Write..and Disconnect your USB cable and Restart your phone..On restart you will be asked Run in RNDUSB Mode?? Click No ..there's no problem.
After that we need  to edit the java applications that need to be minimized on your phone.
For that download the WinRAR software in your pc.And download the java application through PC or in mobile..In case you downloaded your application in your phone dont open it..Transfer it to the PC via USB or Bluetooth..And open the application (JAR file ) via Winrar ..There you will find a folder named META-INF as shown below.

Open that folder in that you will see a file named MANIFEST.MF Extract the file to another folder and open it with Notepad.
and add the following lines to the end of the file.
Nokia-MIDlet-auto-start: no
Nokia-MIDlet-no-exit: true
 see reference here....

Save it and drop into the same folder.and (It asks to replace js replace...)
Now Copy the applications into the phone using USB or Bluetooth
Now open the application and when you want to minimise the application just click the Red End button (once)
That's it...
To re-open that application you need to goto the same place where the applicaiton is.
Also you can make a shortcut in the homescreen if you are using Nokia C3-00 :loL
